Please be aware that Holy Island is cut off twice a day by the tide. You need to look up the safe crossing times before attempting any crossing. Safe crossing times as published by Northumberland County Council can be found here
A tide table book is provided in the cottage for reference throughout your stay. If you are not sure about the tides and would like to know a bit more about how it all works, this great video from Belvue Guesthouse explains it really well.
